Dan joined FMS, Sunshine Restaurant Partners predecessor in January 1982. During his 40 year tenure with FMS/SRP, Dan has worked in virtually every operations position within the company, from General Manager, to Area Director, to Vice President of Operations, to Chief Operating Officer. In 2008, he was promoted to President and Chief Executive Officer of SRP, and then, additionally promoted to IHOP Brand President in 2015.

Throughout his time with the organization, Dan has served on many national committees that IHOP is involved with, including menu and operations committees, and the IHOP National Procurement Committee, which he had been a member of for over 10 years. Dan has been an Executive Committee Member of the Florida Restaurant and Lodging Association for over 9 years and was elected to be their Chairman in 2002. He is currently a member of the FRLA, and also serves as a board member for Neighborhood Restaurant Partners, as well as a board member of CSCS, the purchasing company for both IHOP and Applebee’s nationally.
